The Papua New Guinea Vision 2050 spells out that PNG will be a Smart, Wise, Fair and Happy Society by 2050. This has and will continue to shape the PNG Fire Services’ Vision and Mission.

PNG Fire Service is facing greater challenges in this changing modern environment as it continues to deliver on its core roles and responsibilities.

As an organization mandated by the government to save life and protect property from fire and fire related emergencies, PNG Fire Service recognizes the importance of providing a safe and conducive environment for the community, business houses and the people of Papua New Guinea against fire hazards.

And thus, it realizes that this can be achieved if there is mutual understanding and forged working relationships among all the players-our partners, stakeholders, business houses, the community and the Government.
