DESIGNING OF FIRE PREVENTION PROGRAMMES

Fire Inspectors Design Fire Safety Tips and First Aid Firefighting training modules and deliver to general public by posters and in-house training

Designing of fire prevention programmes is the development of concepts that educate people of PNG on how to keep their home and workplace safe from fire and other related emergencies. One of the main design program is the fire preventive program; “fire awareness”, usually carried in public places and other community based areas.
Fire Operations Firefighters and senior officers, Inspectors and Station Superintendents, are engaged in such initiatives as part of their community partnership approaches to develop relationship for the common interest of minimizing number of fires in communities.
