HAZARD AND RISK MANAGEMENTS

Risk Management is one of the core functions of PNGFS through its daily activities. Every work that is carried out from Fire Station Operations non-response activities to the Community Safety and Training section is for the purpose of managing fire risks. It involves the activity of identification of potential hazards and proposing strategies to minimize its danger potential. A classic example of risk management will be the inspection of fire risk areas to identify hazards and to make sure all fire safety procedures and requirements are met to standard and thus minimizing fire risks.
