FIRE CAUSE INVESTIGATION

Fire Cause Investigation is the process of conducting investigation on a aftermath fire related incident. It involves the process of collecting information from interviews and physical evidences from burnt properties to establish the probable cause of fire.

The investigation report can be obtained by the victim in request by writing to the Office of the Chief Fire Officer for the release of the report. This will help in property owner seeking assistance or claiming for insurance, and helping the PNGFS management for data and record purposes. Investigation are conducted prior to report received from Fire station and upon request from the property owner.
