  1  Type of Training: Fire Emergency Preparedness Training   Training Description This is a specialised safety training aimed at securing working and dwelling environments from fire. This training is designed to help business houses, organisations and even government agencies to prepare their respective environments. The participants/trainees will learn the best fire safety practices that will enable them to prepare for any fire emergencies. This is a life skill training where participants can apply this skill at the workplace and even at home.   Fee Schedule: K400 per-head    Duration:4hrs-half day          Location: onsite
   Type of Training: First Aid Fire Fighting (Extinguisher) Training   Training Description This training is for public and private sector employees or any interested person who would like to know the correct method of using different types of extinguishers and fire hose reel and how to apply them to different classes of fire. The training gives detailed information on each fire extinguisher, their throwing distance, operational duration, as well as its techniques based on the Australian Standard Classification of Fir and Portable Fire Extinguishers.   Fee Schedule: K400 per-head      Duration: 4hrs-half day        Location: onsite
  3  Type of Training: Kitchen Fire Safety Training   Training Description This training is specifically for Restaurants and KaiBars. It is an essential training for Chefs, Cooks, Kitchen Hands and Waiters. Participants/ trainees will train on How to Use a Fire Blanket and Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher i.e. how to fight class ‘F’ fires. This training is based on Australian Standards.   Fee Schedule: K400 per-head      Duration: 3hrs                Location: onsite
  4  Type of Training: Vehicle Fire Safety Training   Training Description This training is for Drivers and Vehicle Owners both in the public and private sector will learn how to prevent a vehicle fire and skills used to suppress a vehicle fire.   Fee Schedule: K400 per-head      Duration: 3hrs                  Location: onsite
  5  Type of Training: Fire Warden Training   Training Description This is specialised training for business houses, organisations and government agencies that have an emergency team in place or would like to create one for their building. This training outlines the roles and responsibilities of the fire warden team. It covers the different categories of the warden duties which include the warden team structure and how building occupants and emergency services can identify them. It also highlights the importance of the Emergency Planning Committee (EPC) and expounding why EPC should be included in business management structures. Participants/trainees (warden team) can communicate effectively with the chief warden and safely evacuate all building occupants while minimising injuries and casualties during an emergency at the workplace.   6  Type of Training: Chief Warden Training   Training Description This is a specialised training for business houses, organisations and government agencies that have a fire warden team. This course outlines the roles and responsibilities of the Chief Warden; how a chief warden communicates instructions during an emergency. Participants/trainees should acquire leadership skills so as to confidently coordinate their warden team during an emergency at the workplace. This Training is based on Australian Standard 3745:2010   Fee Schedule: K1200.00 per-head         Duration: 4hrs-half day        Location: on site
  7  Type of Training: Security Personnel Basic Fire Safety Training   Training Description This is an integrated training package designed purposely to train and prepare the security guards to react competently to an emergency. The security guards will learn the skills of using the fire suppression equipment such as a fire extinguisher and fire hose reel and also learn the skills of a warden during an emergency. This training will equip them as part of the warden team so that they can effectively carry out their roles and responsibilities as part of a warden team in the event of an emergency, especially a fire. This is a relevant training for all security guards.   Fee Schedule: K400.00 per-head         Duration: 2days        Location: on site
  8  Type of Training: Prevent Injury Training   Training Description This training is a prerequisite for Basic Fire fighting Skills & Advance Fire fighting Skills Training. It will help participants/trainees to learn the skills and understand the importance of preventing personal injuries at the fire ground. Companies, organisations or government agencies that have an established fire team (ERT) can benefit from this training. It is a fire specific training. Injuries are preventable but one has to know how to prevent them.   Fee Schedule: K400.00 per-head          Duration: 2hrs                 Location: on site
  9  Type of Training: Basic Fire Fighting Skills Training   Training Description This is a Fire-fighter’s foundation skills training. It includes skill 1-14. Participants/trainees will learn the skills of correct handling of fire hoses and the use of the right words of command and hand signals. The skills gained from this training will come in handy when a fire develops into the ‘growth’ or ‘fully developed’ phase. Participants/trainees undertaking this training will become the first responders on the site of an emergency while waiting for the arrival of PNG Fire Service Operational fire-fighters. It is relevant training for companies, organisations or government agencies that have set-up fire milcock hydrants including accessories such as fire-fighting hose, nozzles and even booster pumps.   10  Type of Training: Advance Fire fighting Skills Training   Training Description This training is the second phase of Basic Fire fighting Skills training. The topic includes Fire fighting foundation Skill 14-27. Before participants/trainees undertake this training they have to have Basic Fire fighting Skills training. This training comes as a package that includes Pump Operation and Prevent Injury training. This training is designed for companies or organisations that have their own fire truck. Prerequisites: Prevent Injury and Basic Fire fighting Training   Fee Schedule: K2000.00 per head     Duration:  3-4 weeks        Location: FS
  11  Type of Training: Prepare Test and Maintain Response Equipment   Training Description This training is delivered as a unit of competency together with Advance Fire fighting Skills training to upskill trainees to prepare tests and maintain their fire fighting response equipment in an emergency response state and condition. All firefighter equipment stored in the fire truck and used for fighting fire purposes are covered under this unit.   Fee Schedule: K400.00 per-head        Duration:  2hrs             Location: on-site
  12  Type of Training: Pump Operation Training   Training Description This training is designed for companies and organisations that operate fire truck. Pump operators, as trainees, will learn the skills of operating the fire pump that is installed in the fire truck. This training can be taken separately or together as a training package with Advance Fire fighting skills training if other fire crews are involved.   Fee Schedule: K1000.00 per-head       Duration:  3days           Location: on-site/FS
  13  Type of Training: Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus Training (SCBA)   Training Description This is a specialised training designed for companies and organisations that already have an established fire team (ERT) in place with sets of breathing apparatus at their workplace. Trainees will learn the skills of operating a self-contained32 breathing apparatus – open circuit. This training can be delivered independently or together as a training package with advanced fire fighting skills training.   Fee Schedule: K1000.00 per-head          Duration:  3days        Location: on-site/ FS
